Nine Integrated Business Verticals
Each business line must stand on commercial logic, professional management and appropriate governance. The model is deliberately flexible — participation can deepen over time as trust and economics are demonstrated.
Airlines & Airline Partnerships
Stronger economics through connectivity and disciplined capital.
PAAG's airline pillar may include commercial partnerships, minority investments, joint ventures and selective acquisitions where independently justified. The objective is not to erase successful brands, but to create stronger economics through connectivity, shared capabilities and disciplined capital allocation. Airline participation must respect local licensing, ownership, effective-control and safety requirements.
FleetCo
Aircraft financing and leasing at continental scale.
FleetCo is the proposed aircraft-financing and leasing platform within the PAAG ecosystem. Its purpose is to aggregate demand, improve access to aircraft, support fleet modernization and create a ring-fenced asset platform suitable for lessors, banks, export-credit agencies and institutional capital. Final fleet size, ownership and financing structures must be determined through validated airline demand and transaction economics.
Cargo & Logistics
Building commercially viable trade corridors.
Cargo is central to PAAG's trade thesis. The platform may connect belly cargo, dedicated freighter capacity, cold chain, e-commerce, agricultural exports, pharmaceuticals, express logistics and airport cargo infrastructure. The objective is to build commercially viable trade corridors rather than simply add aircraft capacity.
MRO & Technical Services
Distributed maintenance capacity. Local skills.
Africa's growing fleet creates demand for maintenance, repair, overhaul, spares, components, engineering and technical services. The AFRAA/Boeing outlook estimates approximately US$90 billion in maintenance demand in Africa over 2026–2045. PAAG can help develop distributed MRO capacity and partnerships that improve aircraft availability, reduce unnecessary offshore maintenance and build technical skills locally.
PAAG Aviation Academy
Workforce development as strategic infrastructure.
The Academy pillar is designed to develop pilots, technicians, cabin crew, safety professionals, commercial leaders and aviation managers. With the 2026 market outlook estimating 75,000 new aviation professionals required in Africa through 2045, workforce development is not an ancillary activity — it is strategic infrastructure.
Airports, Ground Services & Infrastructure
Selective participation in hub optimization and infrastructure.
PAAG may participate selectively in airport modernization, cargo facilities, ground handling, lounges, baggage systems, hub optimization and airport-adjacent infrastructure. These projects should generally be developed through appropriate project structures and public-private frameworks rather than assumed to sit directly on the HoldCo balance sheet.
PAAG Connect
Digital integration across the ecosystem.
PAAG Connect is the proposed digital integration layer. Potential functions include distribution, APIs/NDC, interline enablement, payments, loyalty, customer identity, disruption management, data and selected shared digital services. The long-term goal is a more seamless customer and partner experience across participating businesses without requiring every airline to use identical operating systems.
Sustainability & Safety
Safety is non-negotiable. Sustainability is strategic.
Safety is non-negotiable. Every airline and technical activity must comply with applicable regulatory and operational standards. Sustainability priorities may include newer and more efficient aircraft, operational efficiency, climate-aligned infrastructure, responsible financing, workforce development and measurable environmental and social performance.
Private Aviation
Specialist mobility across the continent.
Where commercially justified, PAAG may develop or partner in executive charter, aircraft management, medevac, special missions, remote-access services and FBO activities. This can broaden the platform's revenue base while serving business, government and specialist mobility requirements.
